Volunteer Driver
Job Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Nebraska Operator’s License and have held a valid Operator’s License during the past three years.
- Possess and the ability to maintain a suitable passenger vehicle, including a neat and clean interior and exterior. Examples of suitable vehicles include 4-door sedans, station wagon and moderately size SUVs.
- Possess and retain vehicle liability insurance of no less than $100,000 bodily injury, each person; $300,000 bodily injury, each accident; $100,000 property damage.
- Have a driving record with no more than three (3) moving violations in the past three years.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Successfully complete a “Behind the Wheel” evaluation. Attend periodic training courses as assigned.
- Maintain and process administrative records and reports
Volunteer drivers are scheduled in two hours increments
Three quick steps to begin driving :
- Complete Job Application and Vehicle Registration
- Provide proof of Insurance - Process Motor Vehicle and Criminal history background check
- Successfully complete a "Behind the Wheel" Evaluation
